Meet June

SHEPHERD EXPERIENCE, PLEASE!June is a beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd weighing about 50 pounds, and this girl is ready to find an active family to call her own! June is a bit of a busybody—in the best possible way. She loves being outside, investigating everything around her and keeping tabs on what everyone is doing. She’s curious, playful,l and always ready to see what’s happening next. She’s also a great walking buddy and does well on a leash. June is very treat-motivated, already knows sit, and absolutely loves being pet and getting attention from her people. And then there are her dog friends…June LOVES other dogs! One of her favorite things to do at the shelter is run the fence and play with her friends. She would definitely enjoy having a canine buddy in her new home to play and explore with. June is looking for an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and adventures. She’s not looking to sit on the sidelines—she wants to be part of the action! Walks, exploring the backyard,taking a dip in the pool, playing with another dog, or heading out on an adventure? June is IN. June’s adoption fee is $100. She is up-to-date on vaccines and preventative care, heartworm negative, and ready to go home. June absolutely cannot go to a home with cats, so unfortunately, if you have feline friends at home, this will not be a good fit.
