Meet Merle

The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimshelter.org*** Meet MERLE! This well behaved, happy go lucky 'little guy' is looking for a home where he can continue to learn all the fun puppy things life has to offer. Merle was born approximately mid-April, and at already about 30 pounds, he is going to be a big pupper. We don't know for sure what breed he is but we feel he likely has some Catahoola in him making those striking spots! Merle is sweet, friendly, playful, quiet and affectionate. He really likes toys and LOVES his blankie. He wants to take it with him whereever he goes so he can assure that he has a soft spot to lay down for his nap. Merle will need continued obedience and training including kennel training and house training. He loves to play ball and would be good with kids too. He seems fine with other dogs and we can cat test him too. Merle is up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He will be adopted on a neuter contract which means the adoptive family is responsible for that surgery. His adoption fee is $350.00
