Meet Penelope

Penelope has a pretty simple philosophy: a little fun, a little exploring, and plenty of time to relax, and she’s a happy girl! Her energy level tends to be on the lower side, with her most playful moments bringing her up to about medium energy. Penelope is a girl who pays attention. She knows how to sit on command, and sometimes she’ll sit before you’ve even asked - as if she’s decided she already knows what you’re going to say and is eager to please. She’s happy to work for treats and takes them gently from your hand. Give her a toy and she’ll happily chase after it when you throw it, although her toy playing career tends to be pretty short lived. After a few seconds, she’s perfectly content to go back to amusing herself. Though if you offer her attention, she’s all about it! She’ll settle in and happily stay there for as long as you’ll love on her. She isn’t looking for constant entertainment - Penelope seems perfectly capable of enjoying some excitement and then deciding it’s time to simply hang out.
