Meet Sadie

Sadie is a gorgeous young German Shepherd who has been winning volunteers over with her sweet personality, great manners, and seriously impressive smarts! Sadie may need a moment to get to know you, but give her a few treats and sit with her, and she warms up very quickly. Once she realizes you're a friend, her sweet personality comes shining through. This girl has brains and beauty! Sadie already knows sit and shake, and volunteers say she knows quite a few other commands. She's attentive, redirects very easily, and seems eager to work with her person. On walks, Sadie has been wonderful. She doesn't pull on the leash, and even the shelter turkeys barely earned a second glance from her! She also LOVES to play fetch and has been described by one volunteer simply as an “amazing dog.”At just 1 year and 9 months old, Sadie has so much life ahead of her. She's looking for a family who will continue giving her love, enrichment, adventures, and opportunities to use that clever Shepherd brain. Come spend a little time with Sadie.
