MEET YANDI! 1 year old | 11 lbs | Schnauzer Mix Meet Yandi, a little guy with a big personality who is still figuring out this crazy world! Yandi is freshly neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, and we’re still getting to know all the little things that make him uniquely Yandi. Here’s what we’ve learned so far! ✨ A few things to know about Yandi: Independent soul: Yandi is a bit of a loner who enjoys doing his own thing. He’s perfectly content wandering off to explore and satisfy his curiosity. Kisses and tummy rubs! He may not be the type to curl up in your arms for hours of cuddles, but he’ll happily give you some big ol’ kisses and absolutely loves a good tummy rub! ❤️ Adventure buddy: Yandi does great in the car and has a little daredevil streak. Life is an adventure, and he’s ready to see what’s out there! The only pet, please: Yandi needs to be the only dog in the home and would do best with older children who understand how to respect his space. Treats are the way to his heart: Yandi is food motivated, which can be a great help when building trust and working on training. Crate smart: He goes into his crate all on his own, which is a great start! Making progress: As long as he’s taken outside frequently, Yandi has been pottying outside every time! He’s still learning, so a consistent routine will be important as he settles into his new home. Still learning about the world: Sudden movements and loud noises can make him uncomfortable, so he’ll need a patient family willing to give him time to build confidence and learn that the world isn’t such a scary place. Yandi may not be your typical snuggly lap dog, but he has his own special way of showing affection. He’s curious, independent, and full of personality. He just needs someone who understands that love sometimes means giving a little space, offering a tummy rub when he’s ready, and letting him blossom at his own pace.
