Adopt 815: Meet ‘Rock’

Meet Rock, a 5-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix, who is featured in this week's Adopt 815. Rock has been at Winnebago County Animal Services (WCAS) for an extended period, having been surrendered by a family member who could no longer care for him. Despite his long stay, Rock remains a cheerful and playful dog who enjoys making people laugh and smile with his goofy antics. He is affectionate, loves belly rubs and cuddles, and enjoys the company of other dogs and new people. Amber Pinnon, the adoption and volunteer program coordinator at WCAS, describes Rock as a lovable and fun-loving dog who enjoys attending adoption events. One of Rock's favorite activities is playing in the water, whether it's bath time or splashing in a kiddie pool on a hot day. The shelter staff is puzzled as to why Rock hasn't been adopted yet, as he is eager to find a loving home where he can receive all the attention he desires.
