Meet Daisy, our Adoptable Pet of the Week in Greater Portland

This week, the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland has chosen Daisy, a 3-year-old dog, as their Adoptable Pet of the Week. Daisy, who came from All Sato Rescue in Puerto Rico, is known for her affectionate nature and playful spirit. According to Matt Blanchard from the Animal Refuge League, Daisy is a 'super snuggler' who enjoys meeting new people and playing with toys. She thrives in environments where she receives plenty of attention and structure. While Daisy can coexist with another dog, it's important that the other dog shares her energetic play style. However, she is not suitable for homes with cats or small animals.

Interested adopters can visit Daisy at the Animal Refuge League's shelter located at 217 Landing Road in Westbrook. The shelter is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., except on Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, with sign-in sheets available at 9 a.m. on open days. For those adopting a dog older than 6 months, including Daisy, a pre-adoption meeting with the adoptable pet is required.
