Pixie, a two-year-old shepherd and pit bull-type mix, is currently at the Morgan Adoption Center in Northstate, California, seeking a loving home. Weighing just under 50 pounds, Pixie tends to hide in the back of her kennel but becomes affectionate and playful when outside. She enjoys belly rubs and walks well on a leash, taking treats nicely. Recently, Pixie displayed her playful nature during a playgroup with another young dog named Stitch, where they chased and wrestled together.
Currently, Pixie's adoption fee is sponsored through next Saturday, along with all pets at the Morgan Adoption Center, thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation. This sponsorship aims to encourage more families to consider adopting Pixie and other dogs in need of homes.
