Young Dog Kado Is Alexandria's Adoptable Pet Of The Week

Kado, an eight-month-old, 45-pound energetic dog, has been named the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria's (AWLA) adoptable pet of the week. Kado, who came to the shelter as a stray, is eager to find a home where he can continue his training and grow into his best self. He enjoys playing fetch, tug, and is already trained to sit. Kado is recommended to be the only pet in a home due to his big personality. Those interested in adopting Kado can visit the AWLA shelter at 4101 Eisenhower Avenue during adoption hours, which are noon to 7 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
