Camp Love-a-Pet graduates 6 shelter dogs, ready for adoption or foster homes
Six shelter dogs, aged between 1 and 3 1/2 years, have successfully completed Camp Love-a-Pet and are now ready for adoption or foster care, showcasing their improved obedience and socialization skills.
Haven Humane Society recently concluded Camp Love-a-Pet, a program that pairs shelter dogs with young campers to enhance their obedience and socialization skills. Six dogs have successfully completed the program and are now ready for adoption or foster care. Among them is Jasper, a 3 1/2-year-old pit bull mix who is friendly with children, other dogs, and even cats. Socks, a 7-year-old Labrador retriever mix, enjoys tennis balls and would thrive in a home with older children. Phil and Lil, two young dogs, are sweet and eager to please. Wrangler, a 1-year-old Labrador retriever mix, is fun and enjoys meeting new people. Tostido, a 2-year-old husky mix, is always ready for adventure. The program also acknowledged Mary of RedTail Mobile Pet Photography for her donation of photography services.
