Join The Rescue Effect by Bringing Home One of These Adoptable Animals

The ASPCA has launched The Rescue Effect campaign, highlighting the impact of adopting or fostering shelter animals. By opening up space and resources, each adoption or foster placement helps more animals find homes. The campaign features several adoptable animals from New York shelters, including Tootsie, a two-year-old brindle dog, and Adelaide, a gentle cat, both at the ASPCA Adoption Center in New York City. Biryani, a playful black cat, and Junebug, a gentle tabby, are also available for adoption there. At the Recovery and Rehabilitation Center in Pawling, New York, you can meet Hamhock, an affectionate dog, Miss Noogie, a food-loving dog, and Romeo, a playful dog. If you can't adopt, consider fostering. Foster opportunities are available in several locations, including Columbus, Ohio; Pawling, New York; New York City; Weaverville, North Carolina; and Los Angeles. For those outside the tri-state area, local shelters also have many animals in need of homes.
