Join The Rescue Effect by Bringing Home One of These Cats and Dogs
Discover the joy of adoption with Tootsie, Adelaide, and other delightful dogs and cats from the ASPCA's New York shelters, where every adoption helps save more lives.
The ASPCA has launched The Rescue Effect campaign, a heartwarming initiative that highlights the profound impact of adopting or fostering shelter animals. By freeing up space and resources, each adoption or foster placement allows shelters to help more animals in need.
The campaign features several animals from ASPCA facilities in New York, including Tootsie, a two-year-old brindle dog who is eager for walks and adventures, and Adelaide, a gentle cat who enjoys observing her surroundings. Biryani, a playful black cat, and Junebug, a gentle tabby cat, are also part of the campaign.
From the Recovery and Rehabilitation Center in Pawling, New York, the campaign introduces Hamhock, an affectionate dog who loves training and playing fetch, and Miss Noogie, a food-loving dog with a playful spirit. Gouda, a dog who loves showing off her prized possessions, rounds out the group.
The ASPCA encourages everyone, even those outside the tri-state area, to consider adopting from their local shelters. For those unable to adopt, fostering is another impactful way to help. Fostering opportunities are available in several locations, including Columbus, Ohio; Pawling, New York; New York City; Weaverville, North Carolina; and Los Angeles.
