RHSPCA partnering with PetSmart for National Adoption Week
Join us for National Adoption Week as RHSPCA partners with PetSmart to host adoption events, offering a chance for puppies and kittens to find loving homes.
The Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA (RHSPCA) is teaming up with PetSmart Charities to celebrate National Adoption Week from July 20–26 with a series of adoption events. These events, held at the PetSmart store on 1671 E. Market St. in Harrisonburg, VA, aim to find loving homes for kittens, cats, and dogs.
On Tuesday, July 21, and Thursday, July 23, from 5:30–7 p.m., attendees can meet kittens and cats available for adoption. Then, on Saturday, July 25, from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., the spotlight shifts to dogs in the 'Adopt Joy' event. RHSPCA staff and volunteers will be on-site to assist families in finding the perfect match for their home.
Sara Stone, Director of Development at RHSPCA, emphasized the importance of these events, stating, 'Every adoption creates space and resources for the next animal who needs our care.' More information about available animals and the adoption process can be found on the RHSPCA website.
