Bella, a 4-year-old Shepherd mix, has found herself at the Forsyth Humane Society after being surrendered by an elderly couple who could no longer care for her. Despite this change, Bella remains sweet and affectionate, quickly becoming a favorite among the shelter staff. Alex Patton, the Marketing Manager at Forsyth Humane Society, describes Bella as bubbly and great with small children, highlighting her love for playing fetch. During her time at the shelter, Bella has shown herself to be healthy, playful, and curious, often engaging with her surroundings and her shelter-mates. Although Bella is heartworm positive, the shelter assures potential adopters that this condition is manageable with the proper medication, which will be provided for six months upon adoption.
